…and being human can be difficult sometimes.

Anxiety, self-doubt, low mood, and avoidance are common. These can often be connected to deeper feelings of shame, grief, and questions about belonging.

Sometimes the ways we have learned to manage challenging experiences can impact work, relationships, and how we respond to stress and hard decisions, making it hard to move forward with confidence and ease.

The good news is that even when things are difficult, it’s all workable. You don’t need to do this alone.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I provide in-person and online integrative psychotherapy for adults in New York City. My approach is practical, holistic, and non-judgmental, and grounded in mindfulness and compassion.

Therapy is not about reducing you to a set of problems to solve or providing a quick fix. It is a collaborative and sometimes radical process of slowing down, being curious, and relating to yourself and your life in new ways.

It’s normal to feel unsure about starting therapy. Change is always uncertain and you don’t have to have everything figured out to take the first step.
