Therapy for Artists and Creatives
Creative work is meaningful and can also be difficult to sustain.
Many artists experience periods of self-doubt, anxiety, financial stress, creative blocks, grief, burnout, or difficulty staying connected to their practice in a way that feels alive and aligned with their values.
I have provided therapy to artists across multiple disciplines, including actors, directors, visual artists, musicians, singers, and writers at various stages in their careers and creative lives.
Therapy can provide a consistent and caring space to explore the emotional, relational, practical, and psychological challenges that can shape an artist’s life and work.
As both a licensed therapist and active visual artist, I understand the joys and pitfalls of a creative life. My background in the arts shapes how I understand therapy as a process that unfolds over time, often in unexpected and surprising ways.
Access to mental health care can be financially challenging for many artists. I offer sliding scale pricing for those who cannot afford my full fee.
